Iredell Health System has announced that Hannah Brooke Brown, FNP-C, has joined the Family Care Center of Statesville. Brown is recognized for her expertise in cardiovascular intensive care, palliative care, urgent care, free clinics, and family medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at Appalachian State University, receiving the Leadership Award, and holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Brown emphasizes patient empowerment in her practice. "I believe in meeting patients where they are, respecting their individual beliefs, and empowering them to make the best health decisions possible based on the available evidence. By listening to my patients and treating them as I would my own family — with kindness, respect, and unwavering dedication — I strive to help them lead healthier lives. This patient-centered approach is what inspires my passion for family medicine, where I can build strong, supportive relationships and guide patients toward better health outcomes."

Outside her professional work, Brown enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter Elara, and extended family. She is also the legal guardian of her brother, Noah, and advocates for individuals with disabilities. Brown feels a strong connection to the community she serves, stating, "I was born at Iredell Memorial Hospital. I returned there as a travel intensive care nurse during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to provide aid. I wanted to work for an employer that was passionate about helping the community I grew up in."

She highlights the connection between mental and physical health, advising, "Dedicate at least 15 minutes each day to doing something that brings you joy. Your mental health is closely tied to your physical wellbeing, so making time for yourself is not just important — it’s essential."

Brown is currently accepting new patients at the Family Care Center of Statesville.

Family Care Center of Statesville is located at 1410 Fern Creek Dr., Statesville, NC, and can be reached at 704-978-2250. More information is available at Fccstatesville.com.
