Iredell Health System has announced the appointment of Jackie Elliott as the new program director for its Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center. Elliott, who joined Healogics in May 2023 as a program director at another clinic, transferred to Iredell's facility on Davie Avenue in Statesville in late 2024.

With over two decades of experience in the medical field, including roles in sales, account management, credentialing, and as a physician liaison, Elliott is expected to bring significant expertise to her new position. "I am most excited about working with a great team of nurses and staff who not only care about our patients but care about each other," she stated.

Healogics is recognized as the leading wound care provider nationwide. Iredell Health System collaborates with Healogics to offer comprehensive care for patients dealing with wounds and related issues. Elliott expressed enthusiasm about her role at Iredell Health System: “Accepting the position at Iredell Health System was the best decision I made in 2024,” she said. “They have been welcoming and very supportive."

The Iredell Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center stands out as one of only three Healogics Wound Care Centers in North Carolina to receive both the 2023 Center of Distinction and Clinical Excellence Award. These accolades reflect their commitment to exceptional patient care.

To earn these awards, the center achieved remarkable clinical outcomes over 12 months, maintaining a patient satisfaction rate above 92% and ranking in the top 10% of Healogics centers on clinical excellence measures.

The center is located at 1714 Davie Ave., Statesville, NC.
