Iredell County Public Library issued the following announcement on May 18.
We've got just two more weeks before registration begins for our Summer Reading program!
Summer Reading is a two month long series of programming our library hosts each year in an effort to keep our community engaged and learning throughout summer months.
This year's Summer Reading program will include in-person programming, Take & Make activity bags for all ages, age appropriate activity booklets, and reading logs to record your progress during June & July.
We're also putting the finishing touches on an online reading tracker, for those of you who'd like avoid filling out a paper log.
Everyone who submits a reading log between July 30th - August 5th will be entered to win one of several grand prize drawings for their age group. We've got some great prizes this year and look forward to sharing them with you soon!
