In honor of Women’s History Month, the Mayor's Diversity & Inclusion Taskforce celebrates Phaedra Pistone. She is the current Mrs. US Continental, a native of North Carolina, and a two-time breast cancer survivor. She resides in Mooresville with her husband, Tom, and their three fur babies, Harley, Cru, and Pesci. She is also the proud owner of Classic Bride & Formals for more than 12 years.
Phaedra is an advocate for Breast Cancer awareness, a philanthropist, a brand ambassador for the American Cancer Society, and the face of the mobile mammogram bus in the Carolinas for Charlotte Radiology. She recently started her own cause called “Build a Box for Breast Cancer" to help survivors beyond their journey with cancer. It’s a "cheer you up, I’m still with you, and I’m thinking about you," box.
