Mooresville Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
Our community is recently experiencing an increase in vehicle break-ins. Please know that many of the vehicles that were broken into were unlocked. There was no forced entry into any of the vehicles and Items of value were taken from these vehicles.
