On Sunday, Feb. 2, former West Iredell High School standout Kaylee Chapman’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saint Leo Lions.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 11:05 a.m. at McCrorie Family Stadium against Flagler Saints.
