Tracie Faircloth, MSN, RN, has been appointed as the Director of the Hospital-Based Skilled Nursing Facility at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Previously, she served as assistant and interim director for the same unit. In her new role, Faircloth will manage the 48-bed facility located within the hospital.
Faircloth’s background includes experience in cardiology, hospice care, and skilled nursing. She holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Stanly Community College and both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from Chamberlain University.
Explaining her decision to join Iredell Memorial Hospital, Faircloth said: “I chose Iredell because it’s a true community hospital, caring for patients from acute care through rehabilitation. It’s a place where people come first, and where I can lead in a way that strengthens teamwork, supports growth, and ensures every team member—and every patient—feels that same sense of value and belonging.”
Faircloth also expressed enthusiasm about supporting her team. “I’ve worked within larger organizations before, and I often felt like just a number. From my very first interaction here, I’ve felt valued, seen, and genuinely appreciated by this team. That experience reminded me how powerful a supportive culture can be—and it inspires the kind of leader I strive to be.”
Outside of work responsibilities, Faircloth is the mother of two adult children and enjoys spending time with her long-haired miniature dachshunds.
