TOWN OF MOORESVILLE: How Do You Combat Bullying?

Town of Mooresville issued the following announcement on June 6.

Promoting inclusion and belonging helps to prevent bullying. According to Stopbullying.gov, 49.8% of youth (9-12 years old) said they experienced bullying at school.

Mark Shinkaruk serves as the principal at The Brawley School, an IB World School here in Mooresville, NC. He has been in school administration for 13 years, previously serving as principal at Lake Norman Elementary and assistant principal at Coddle Creek Elementary. Mark is married to Jennie who is a small business owner in Mooresville and has a 5 year old daughter, Nora.
