Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Au. 1.

 The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline has changed its number to 988! 

The new number aims to make crisis care more accessible. 

If you know someone having a mental health crisis or suicidal ideations, call 988 and connect with a mental health professional.
