City of Statesville issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
We are anticipating HEAVY traffic from a scheduled event at the City of Statesville NC Soccer Complex on Simonton Drive tonight between the hours of 5:30 and 8:30pm. SIMONTON DRIVE, SIGNAL HILL DRIVE, EAST BROAD STREET and DAVIE AVENUE could see slow moving or stopped traffic for extended periods of time.
The Statesville Police Department will be onsite assisting with the traffic flow in and out of the Soccer Complex.
Please have patience and use caution if you plan to be in the area!
