Town of Mooresville issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
Join Mooresville Police Department for National Faith & Blue Weekend event, October 7-10, 2022! National Faith & Blue Weekend facilitates safer and stronger communities by engaging law enforcement officers and local residents through the connections of faith-based organizations. Friday, October 7 – Coffee with a Cop
Mt. Moriah Church | 608 Brookwood Street. | 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Saturday, October 8 – Coffee with a Cop
McDonalds | 497 River Highway | 9-11 a.m.
Sunday, October 9 – Shred Event
Mooresville Police Department | 2847 Charlotte Highway | 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Shred-It will be on-site for proper disposal of paper items like personal banking documents. Each person is limited to two bank box-sized containers.
Sunday, October 9 – Dessert with a Cop/Picnic
Abundant Life Church | 119 Foursquare Road. | 5-6 p.m.
Monday, October 10 – Coffee with a Cop
Starbucks | 235 Medical Park Drive | 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
