Greater Statesville Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
The Leadership Statesville Class of 2022 is partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of the Piedmont (BGCP) to revitalize and create a sustainable community garden. They plan to raise over $30,000, volunteer one hundred hours and assist with the development of a Boys and Girls Club of the Piedmont Farmers’ Market. Included in this project are activities such as raising and re-configuring the garden beds, building a fence around the garden, building a storage facility on-site, and creating a plaque to recognize garden sponsors, and building a portable greenhouse.

JUMP FEE: $25/person (Pay at the gate on the day of the event via cash, check, or card)
