Iredell County Area Public Transit (ICATS) is getting things running again, with the recent return of two fixed routes to regular service.
The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce posted on June 29 about the resumption of the Statesville Bloom and the Mooreseville Main, which will both operate on Mondays through Fridays.
As the county gets back into service following the loosening of COVID-19-related restrictions, schedules may be subject to change based on rider demand, according to the Chamber of Commerce's post.
Iredell County Area Public Transit continues to request that anyone using local public transit follow recommended precautions, including maintaining a 6-foot distance from other passengers and wearing a mask as recommended by health authorities.
ICATS also reminds its customers to continue to practice good hygiene with regular and thorough handwashing, as well as the use of gloves and hand sanitizer as needed.
Fair interactions are still not happening onboard public transportation as well.
