IREDELL-STATESVILLE SCHOOLS: NC School Closure Extends to May 15th

Iredell-Statesville Schools recently issued the following announcement.

Today, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper issued an extension to the mandatory school closure for students as a result of the Coronavirus.  Iredell-Statesville Schools will be closed for in-person instruction to students through Friday, May 15, 2020.

Our district will continue to focus on three major areas:

Remote Learning for I-SS students

Students will continue to receive instruction remotely.  Additional details may be found at the link below.  Please contact your school principal or teacher by email for any assistance.

Satellite Locations for Meal Pick-Up

Currently, 15 nutrition hubs are open throughout the county to pick up bagged meals.  In order to pick up a meal at one of the nutrition hubs please complete this Request for Meals form.

Emergency K-5 Childcare Opportunities for Essential Community Staff

I-SS has identified 6 emergency K-5 childcare sites for essential professionals in Iredell County.  If you work in the medical profession or emergency management, you may be eligible to receive K-5 childcare at one of our 6 locations.  For more information, visit the link below.
