Through their Summer Meals Program, they have opened emergency meal sites in our area. These will be curb-side service, so families can drive through and pick up meals at no charge. The following locations will provide meals:

  • First United Methodist Cary (117 South Academy Street, Cary NC) – Lunch 12:15-1:15pm Monday through Friday.
  • Chatham Forest Apartments (880 Glendale, Cary NC) – Dinner 6:30-7:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Apex First Baptist Church (419 South Salem Street, Apex NC) – Dinner 6:30-7:30pm Monday and Wednesday
  • Arbors of Cary (200 Wrenn Drive, Cary NC) – Dinner 6:00-7:00pm Monday through Thursday.
Additionally, Briarcliff Elementary, (1220 Pond St, Cary NC), will be providing school meals Monday through Friday from 12:00-1:00pm.

If you know of a family that lacks transportation, they are diligently working with volunteers and the police/fire departments to arrange delivery. If you know a family that would benefit from this service, please email kirksummerfoods@gmail.com. They cannot guarantee delivery, but will do their best!
