On Saturday, March 8, former Statesville High School standout Jacob Lentz’s current college team, the Wheeling Cardinals, won 10-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lake Erie Storm.

The game took place at JB Chambers I-470 Complex. This was their first matchup against the Storm this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at JB Chambers I-470 Complex against Lake Erie Storm.
