On Wednesday, April 9, former West Iredell High School standout Kaylee Chapman’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 17-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tusculum Pioneers.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Smith Road Complex against Newberry Wolves.
