On Saturday, Feb. 1, former West Iredell High School standout Kaylee Chapman’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Spring Hill Badgers.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Badgers this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 9:30 a.m. at Gulf Shores Sportsplex against Saint Leo Lions.
