On Saturday, Feb. 8, former West Iredell High School standout Kaylee Chapman’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Davis & Elkins Senators.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Senators this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. at McCrorie Family Stadium against Flagler Saints.
