On Friday, May 9, former West Iredell High School standout Kaylee Chapman’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at 12 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against North Georgia Nighthawks.
