On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Statesville High School standout Jacob Lentz’s current college team, the Wheeling Cardinals, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Pittsburgh Johnstown Mountain Cats.

The game took place at JB Chambers I-470 Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mountain Cats this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3:50 p.m. at JB Chambers I-470 Complex against Pittsburgh Johnstown Mountain Cats.
