Tuesday, November 4, 2025, has been set as Election Day for the City of Statesville and the Towns of Mooresville, Troutman, and Davidson. The Mooresville Graded School District will also hold elections on this date. Polling places will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and voters are required to cast their ballots at their assigned polling locations. Voting will not take place at the Board of Elections office on Election Day.
To participate in these elections, residents must live within the city limits of one of the municipalities or within the Mooresville Graded School District.
Voters will need to show an acceptable photo ID when voting. Election workers will check that the photo on the ID reasonably matches the voter’s appearance. The address listed on the photo ID does not need to match voter registration records. Voters without a photo ID may vote using a provisional ballot.
