Iredell County Parks & Recreation issued the following announcement on June 6.

June 10th: Encanto (PG)
July 8th: Luca (PG)
August 12th: Sing 2 (PG)

$5 per person. Pre-purchase is highly encouraged. Tickets required for ages 3 and up (ages 2 and under are free).

Movies begin at dusk.

Arrival for the movie will begin at 7:30pm. There will be NO early arrivals allowed.

Online ticket sales are open until the day before the showing at 9pm or until sold out. (NOTE: If a minimum number of tickets is not sold the Wednesday before @ 9am, the event may be cancelled).

Each $5 ticket includes an individual sized bag of popcorn.

Additional bags of popcorn, soda, and bottled water will be available for purchase as an add-on during registration, and during event check-in (cash only). ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED ON COUNTY PROPERTY.

Flashlights are permitted, however we ask that flashlights not be aimed toward the screen or other patrons. They should be kept off unless necessary for safe walking.

In the event of rain/strong winds/lightning the movie will be canceled (rescheduled if possible). Refunds will only be issued in the event of a cancellation made by ICPRD.

Sergeant Adrian Foster named Deputy of the Year by Exchange Club

Sergeant Adrian Foster has been named Deputy of the Year by the Mooresville-Lake Norman Exchange Group for his service with Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. He was recognized for leadership roles since joining in 2014 as well as ongoing community involvement.
