Iredell County Health Department issued the following announcement on May 4.

Have you heard of Hyper Reach? It is a local service that will provide you with weather and emergency alerts via phone call to your landline phone or cell phone, text message to your cell phone, or via email. Sign-up by visiting this link today!

Are you an Iredell County resident with special medical needs?  Then you need to know about the Iredell County Special Medical Needs Registry! 

This program provides emergency responders with important information in the event of a disaster. 

You are eligible for this no-cost program if you are an Iredell County Resident and meet at least one of the following: 

-Need assistance with daily living activities

-Need medical observation or assistance

-Have a constant, lasting, or easily spread sickness

-Have a significant disability and/or are homebound and do not live in a long-term care facility
