Iredell County Health Department issued the following announcement on July 30.

While supplies last, we will be giving patients receiving prenatal care through our Maternal Health Clinic a car seat at their 35 – 36 week visit. 

These car seats are an infant to toddler car seat and can accommodate a child from 5 to 65 pounds. 

In addition, we will provide car seat installation and use instructions from a certified instructor.
