Iredell Physician Network has announced the opening of Iredell Ear, Nose & Throat with Dr. Jeffrey E. Brink. The practice is set to host an open house and ribbon-cutting event on Thursday, April 24, from 4 pm to 6 pm, inviting the public to meet the ENT team and learn about their services.

The new practice will address a range of conditions affecting the head and neck, specifically the ear, nose, and throat. These conditions include ear infections, hearing loss, nasal obstructions, sinusitis, throat pain, and vocal cord issues among others. It will also treat chronic medical conditions and tumors within the head and neck regions.

Dr. Brink, an alumnus of the University of Florida College of Medicine, is board-certified in otolaryngology and has 28 years of experience in private practice. He notes, “I was drawn to Iredell Health System by the opportunity to start an ENT practice from the ground up. I want to work with administration and support staff in a community-based health system with a team effort where everyone comes together to provide excellent ENT care for the community.”

His approach to care emphasizes patient education. Brink said, “My approach to medical care includes a patient-centered approach by learning about the patient both personally and about their ENT-related medical problems. I educate my patients in the anatomy and physiology related to their problems and provide a stepwise approach to treatment.”

Aside from his medical endeavors, Brink shares his passion for his family, his pets, and hobbies such as golf and pickleball. He is also a fan of the Florida gators and is open to accepting new patients at the practice, located at 740 Bryant St., Statesville, NC.

Healthy tips were also shared by Brink: “Something as simple as using a daily nasal saline irrigation can prevent or control a myriad of nasal and sinus problems,” adding that “a hearing aid is less conspicuous than a hearing loss.”
