County of Iredell issued the following announcement on Feb. 23.
Iredell County is soliciting qualifications from professional Radio Frequency Engineering and Communications Consultants to assist the County in developing design requirements for migration to a 700/800 MHz P25 radio system integrated with the State’s VIPER system along with procurement process and implementation support services. Iredell County will be receiving statements of qualifications from firms having specific experience and qualifications in the areas identified within the RFQ. Proposals must contain evidence of the consultant’s experience and abilities in the specified area and other disciplines directly related to the technical and operational assessment, procurement support and implementation oversight of mission critical communications infrastructure. Other information required by the County includes the submission of profiles and resumes of the staff available to be assigned to the project, references illustrating similar work performed and other information that clearly demonstrates qualifications and experience.
