City of Statesville issued the following announcement on Nov. 29.

Friday, December 2nd from 6:00-8:30pm

City Hall will be hopping this Friday as Santa Central returns!

You’re invited to take photos with the Nutcrackers standing guard in the front of City Hall or with Santa beside the 15-foot tree inside!

There will be refreshments, arts and crafts for the kids, and special tours of Historic City Hall led by Victorian ghosts of Christmas past.

The MAGIC MAILBOX is also back at City Hall!  It has the ability to special express your letter to the North Pole without a stamp! In addition, if you include your name and address, Santa will send you a personal reply!

We have stationary available or you can use your own!
