Crews are continuing as weather permits in the area of Eastside Drive and Reynolda Road. The county landfill will be closed on Saturday, February 4; therefore, there will be no leaf collection on this day.

A registered sex offender who fled from Iredell County has been apprehended in Montana after a multi-agency investigation involving local detectives and federal authorities. Three adults were arrested while traveling toward Canada; a young child was placed into protective custody.
