Iredell Health System has announced the appointment of Amy Teague as the Director of Environmental Services. Previously, Teague held the position of Assistant Director of Environmental Services at Frye Regional Medical Center for eight years. She expressed enthusiasm about her new role, stating, “I chose Iredell Health System because I appreciate the close-knit community feel; everyone has been so welcoming and treats me like family.” She added, “I am excited about the opportunity to grow in my new role.”

Teague emphasized her commitment to making a positive impact through her position. “This position is a chance to further contribute to creating a safe and clean environment for our patients to heal,” she said. “The staff here have been incredibly supportive, and I am looking forward to making a positive impact.”

Larry Pizzorni, AVP of Ancillary and Support Services at Iredell Health System, commented on Teague’s appointment: “Amy’s expertise in facility management and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in supporting our mission to provide a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.”

Outside of work commitments, Teague enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband of 24 years, three children, and granddaughter. An outdoor enthusiast, she loves camping and spending time in the mountains.
